Short ride to Marfa today. It's a very cool town—something of an art mecca. When I got in, my Couchsurfing host Rachel spotted me on the street & introduced herself to me. She told me what was going on in town. Rode around & saw some art galleries. Then I got BBQ for dinner & went to a concert at the Hotel Paisano. It was fun—very Texan. One of the songs was about the C&O railway, though, for a little taste of Maryland.
But now it's late & I'm tired, so I'm going to turn in.
